The history of our association in 10 panels and a book
Lots of photos and little “flashes” to travel 40 years of history: this is the exhibition dedicated to the fortieth anniversary of the Club. The synthesis of a long and intense journey, which has gradually been enriched with events and people.
English: Drawing from the archives of 4PiccoleRuote and from the books published by our association (especially “Storia di una passione”), we attempted the almost impossible task of offering an idea of the evolution of a reality that has gone from a handful of “pioneers” to a community of 23.000 Cinquecento enthusiasts throughout Italy and abroad. It is not easy to select what to propose, also considering the relative scarcity of material at the beginning and, on the contrary, the overabundance of recent years. From a few, timid shots in black and white or with colors marked by time we have in fact gone to a flood of images thanks to digital and smartphones, also because from a few, sparse rallies we have arrived at the very busy calendar that today we offer in every corner of the Peninsula, without counting the charity events or the important appointments of the world of historic motoring (from ASI sessions to fairs, from elegance contests to reports for prestigious industry magazines). Accompanying the exhibition is a publication of over 70 pages distributed during the Meeting, which resumes and expands the history of the Club in ongoing installments in the magazine throughout 2024.
