The Gardens of Villa della Pergola, built in the late nineteenth century in a unique position overlooking the sea, offer a unique opportunity to appreciate the typical Mediterranean vegetation together with rare plants of the exotic flora.

Particular attention was paid to the recovery, conservation and enrichment of the blooms and, together with Silvia Arnaud Ricci, to the creation of the renowned botanical collections of wisteria (34 varieties for the most important Italian collection) and of what is today the most important collection of agapanthus in Europe, which boasts nearly 500 different species, in addition to that of citrus fruits.

The Gardens of Villa della Pergola, Alassio (SV), +39 0182 646130, offer participants to the 39th Meeting a reduced admission fee (between 28/6 and 3/7)
