Fiat 500 Club Italia and ASI

Federated ASI since January 2000

The UPS (Historic Italian Automotoclub) is part of the FIVA, (Federation Internationale Vehicules Anciens), an organization that deals with the protection of historic motoring at an international level and is the national reference association (ANF) in Italy. 

Il Fiat 500 Club Italia has been a member of ASI since 2000. Members who own a Fiat 500 can register all vehicles that are over twenty years old and have been preserved in above-average conditions or restored while respecting the originality of the vehicle.

For those who own a historic 500, it is possible to request various certificates through our Club. To proceed, you need to register with ASI. by paying €52 and sending a copy of the Fiat 500 registration document via email to sociasi@500clubitalia.it.

The Certificate of Historical Significance it is the document with which the vehicles acquire the qualification of "vehicles of historical and collectible interest".

This document is required by insurance companies to take out policies for vehicles of historical and collectible interest. In some cities it is required to be able to drive in derogation of ordinances regarding traffic limitations.

The Certificate of Historical and Collectible Relevance is the document required for the re-admission into circulation of vehicles that have been deregistered by the office, deregistered for demolition, for the registration in Italy of vehicles of foreign origin, of any origin or of unknown origin.

CRS Property Update

The ASI Secretariat, by order of the Federal Council, will update the ownership transfers on the Certificates of Historical Relevance (CRS) by affixing a stamp on the original certificate.

Certificate of Identity (Approval)

Free for pre-1918 vehicles.

This document certifies the historicity and authenticity of the motor vehicle/motorcycle. It is issued following a check by the ASI National Technical Commission for Motor Vehicles and accompanied by the so-called "GOLD PLATE“. The verification is performed during the ASI Approval Seat to which vehicle owners must go after requesting participation to the Federated Club.

ASI Historicity Map for Mopeds (CSC)

Document certifying the historicality of motorcycles with a displacement of 50 cc. With this document, which will follow the CRS, the moped will be registered in the Register and will have its own order number.

FIVA Certificate

Vehicle identification document indicating its date and classification, issued pursuant to art. 4 of the FIVA Regulations. It allows participation in events registered in the FIVA international calendar.

The Certificates listed above They are not issued automatically, but upon express request of the Member.

For ASI documents, it is possible to request duplicates in case of loss and ownership updates in case of sale of the vehicle.
