Altare, the second anniversary of the Museum Network

A special second birthday for the Network of Museums of the Province of Savona. As part of the Glass Festival furnace lighting ceremony at the Altare Glass Art Museum, hosted in the beautiful Villa Rosa, the managers of the now 22 structures that are part of the Network met. An opportunity to also welcome the latest new entry, theAll About Apple of Savona (represented by its president Alessio Ferrero) and to reiterate the desire to collaborate increasingly to unite realities that are often very different from each other, but which overall enrich the cultural offerings of the coast and hinterland, with valid proposals for tourists and residents. Above all, as also reiterated by Anna Cossetta of the De Mari Foundation, the commitment to overturning what is a real prejudice, namely that museums are the custodians of old and uninteresting things, rather than places full of wonders that concern both ancient times, but also more recent history, as the “Dante Giacosa” also demonstrates.
Regarding the presence of the “500 Museum”, in addition to myself and the Vice-Conservator Silvio Bertolotto, the beautiful white 500 F of Sarah Chiarlone of the Valbormida Coordination, in the company of her daughters, Eva and Mia Canepa.
As with any self-respecting birthday party, there was no shortage of cake or group photos, including one with the 500.
