The most passionate modelers do not limit themselves to buying the pieces for their collections, but often modify them to make them unique in some cases. Let's see some examples based on Bburago.
The black L is a model customized by me (1-2). I tried to make it more faithful to the real car I own and here are the details. For the exterior: black 601, gutter profiles and lights painted like the rims in gray 690. For the interior: red with stripes on the seats and panels, carpet, strap for the rear seatback, drawer on the tunnel and storage pockets on the doors, sunroof. In the engine compartment the same and all its details are in the original color. For the luggage compartment: jack, brake fluid tank, battery with detachable terminals, strap for spare wheel, wires and pipes on the petrol tank, mat. And I've certainly forgotten something!
In the other images, from the collection of our member Claudio Mattioli, we see the 500 L cabrio (3) and sports cars such as the Abarth (4) and the Giannini (5). We can also see this special version of the red L, on a wooden base, made as a tribute to the participants of the 1000 Miglia 2001 (6). Finally, a version with the famous Coca-Cola brand (7, which I don't remember having seen personally).
