On March 29, a splendid sunny day welcomed 100 500s to the town center for the rally “In 500 between Cortemaggiore and the Castle of San Pietro in Cerro”.
After registering, receiving a welcome bag, and enjoying breakfast at the participating bars, we presented the plaques to the Municipal Administration, in the presence of the Mayor and Councilors, to the representative of the G. Verdi Nursery School, and to UNICEF Piacenza, which was always present with its own stand.
We then set off towards the Castle of San Pietro in Cerro where, after parking the cars on the entrance driveway and in the courtyard behind it, the guides welcomed us and accompanied us on a visit inside the Castle.
After saying goodbye and thanking everyone, we handed over the plaque and pennant to the castle manager and the town's mayor.
The group then set off in the direction of Ciriano di Carpaneto where at the Il Lupo Restaurant they were waiting for us for an excellent and abundant lunch.
Before cutting the cake, we proceeded with the awarding of the prizes that the sponsors had donated to us.
As always, solidarity must never be lacking and thanks also to the sponsors part of the proceeds went to theUNICEF for children in the Middle East,ANGSA (National Association of Parents of People with Autism) Piacenza Committee and to theG. Verdi Nursery School of Cortemaggiore.
I think the members had, as always, a wonderful day in good company, sharing our passion. To demonstrate this passion, Paul and Larissa They organized the trip from Panama to join us. These gestures fill you with joy and demonstrate a great friendship. For this, on behalf of myself and the entire staff, we thank all the participants.
