November 15-16 was an unusual weekend. For our Club, the "Sicilia Game Expo," a fair dedicated to games of all kinds, collectibles, and comics, offered an unusual showcase. So, what do the historic Fiat 500s have to do with it?
They absolutely have something to do with it! Because the 500 is the car most loved by the world's most famous thief, the legendary Lupin III!
So the organizers, encouraged by our great friend and brilliant artist Andrea Dentuto, they thought of setting up the “Lupin Zone in 500” inside the fair.
Five models are the protagonists, each with a predefined color; the red one for the beautiful Fuijko, the black one for the killer Jigen, the white one for the ruthless master Goemon, the beige for the tireless inspector Zenigata, the yellow one needless to say for the protagonist Lupin.
Even though it wasn't a motoring fair, we spent some lively days in good company. Among the many people and superheroes who came to visit us, there was always someone who had owned a 500, someone who still owns one and someone who dreams of owning one!
A beautiful and special experience for us at the Fiat 500 Club Italia Catania CoordinationI personally thank Gaetano Puleo, organizer of the “Sicilia Game Expo” and members Giancarlo Consoli, Luca Parisi, Francesco Sorge, and Johnny Liccardi who dedicated their time and made their beloved 500s available which, taken from the usual warmth of their families, were on display for two days, allowing themselves to be photographed and gazed at by thousands of people.
I would like to extend a special thanks to Maestro Andrea Dentuto for inviting us and welcoming us with such friendship and passion, also donating some exclusive, personalized illustrations to us sixteenth-century artists.
I am personally very satisfied to have represented our Club in an important event and in an unusual context for us Cinquecento runners, but made up of good people who, like us, make their passion a way to be together In friendship, this proves that passion keeps you out of trouble! See you next time, friends of the 500.
