As they say, first time's a charm: a Sunday to remember, a relaxing and enjoyable day together with our 500s along the streets of the splendid village of Mezzojuso (PA).
Congratulations to Thomas The Susa for the impeccable organization of this first appointment in the role of new trustee of the Corleone Coordination. I am happy with the choice I made to give space to a young man who, as I expected, has proven to be capable and capable of the task assigned to him, sure that it will be a new beginning for a Coordination that already has well 25 years active, in the name of continuity in representing the Fiat 500 Club Italia.

And here is the report from the trustee:
On May 5, 2024, the first “Spring Walk in 500” took place in Mezzojuso, in the province of Palermo, a memorable event for the small village. The event was strongly desired, on the occasion of the celebrations, by Confraternity “Santa Maria of All Graces”. Organized by the Fiat 500 Club Italia Coordinamento di Corleone, with the patronage of the Fiat 500 Club Italia, under the guidance of the undersigned as new trustee.
The meeting of the participants took place at 9 am at the monastery, where more than thirty vintage Fiat 500s gathered, symbol of a fascinating automotive tradition that persists over time.
The day began with the registration of participants, followed by a breakfast offered by the brotherhood, based on fantastic cakes and pies, all homemade with love. During the morning there was an atmosphere of community and passion for historic cars and for our twin-cylinder cars in particular. Before the departure, a touching moment saw the blessing of cars and participants by the priests of the convent, a gesture that united spirituality, tradition and faith in a singular embrace.
At 11am, the cars began their journey, a picturesque tour through the streets of Mezzojuso. The caravan then stopped at a parking surrounded by greenery, giving participants a breathtaking view of the town from above, a panorama that framed the natural and historical beauty of the place and allowed participants to take some pictures of their cars while breathing in the delicious mountain air, far from the everyday city pollution.
After the short break in the mountains, the cars continued their journey, making another tour of the town before concluding the tour in the square. Here, participants had the pleasure of tasting a rich selection of typical local products, a true tribute to the culinary traditions of the town, all offered by the sponsors who contributed to the success of the event.
The event ended with thanks to the mayor, the brotherhood and all those who contributed to the organization. I take this opportunity to thank the friends Vincenzo, from the brotherhood, and Giuseppe, Vincenzo, Filippo, Francesca and Alex, without whom all this would not have been possible. Thanks to the Municipal Administration and to all the sponsors who supported us.
The day not only strengthened the bond between Fiat 500 enthusiasts, but also celebrated the culture and heritage of Mezzojuso, making it an unforgettable event for the participants and for the community that strongly requested to repeat the event. Thanks to the Coordination of Palermo and Bolognetta for their participation.
