In the second half of the eighteenth century, the so-called industrial revolution also affected Gragnano, thanks to the manufacturing of macaroni, which here found the optimal conditions for drying the pasta, carried out in the streets in front of the pasta factories. The entire nineteenth century was a succession of records, from the number of long pasta factories, which reached and exceeded one hundred units, to the first exports to all world markets, also favored by the opening of one of the first railways in Italy.

Il D'Aniello Pasta Factory, site at Gragnano in Via Roma, 23 It is located inside the historic ALFONSO GAROFALO factory, now considered a piece of industrial archaeology. To ensure the high quality of our products, we have set up a research project for the best grains in order to exploit the riches of our territories and transfer them into the final product.

Following numerous studies and continuous research, we have managed to identify a selection of high-quality wheat coming exclusively from Italian soil, capable of guaranteeing the best chemical-physical and organoleptic characteristics to the final product.

Our pursuit of quality is made possible by partnerships with our wheat producers and breeders, Agrisemi Minicozzi, and Molino Resce, which processes it into durum wheat semolina.

The extensive research into raw materials is enriched by a transformation phase that follows the centuries-old tradition of the city of Gragnano: the artisanal processing of our pasta through bronze drawing, the long drying times at low temperatures, and the hand-packaging are the hallmarks of a product of the highest quality.
