Saturday 5th July at 10am at the “Dante Giacosa” Museum Giovanni Orsini will present his book: "When there was the 500”, an original work focused on our beloved little car created by Giovanni in collaboration with Alexander Dragon, one of the historical users of our Forum.
What distinguishes this volume from the previous ones dedicated to the legendary small car? It is not a technical manual, even if it dedicates ample space and care in the presentation of the characteristics of the various versions of the 50, thanks in particular to Alessandro's contribution. If anything, it is a historical and customs essay, but which reads as fluidly and engagingly as a novel, since Giovanni's skill is precisely the ability to transform into a story the careful analysis of the press review of the time, the many paper and video documentation that concerned the design, the launch and then the production, lasting twenty years, of the car that all - or almost all - Italian families had in their garage. All seasoned with numerous curiosities and anecdotes at 360 degrees.
