On Sunday 16 December 2018 the 500 Christmas gathering took place in Bolognetta. The XNUMX drivers, taking advantage of the splendid sunny day, met for the occasion in Via Vittorio Emanuele to spend a day of celebration.
After registration, the Club bag was delivered containing among other things: a Santa Claus hat, a personalized bottle of Fragolino with the Trustee's greetings, the traditional buccellati from the Santa Fortunata bakery in Baucina and the calendar of the new Punto Amico Agenzia Allianz AssiGuzzo in Bagheria, in addition to the stickers and pen of the Fiat 500 Club Italia and the voucher for the breakfast offered by the Pasticceria Delizia. At 10,30:500 the Parish Priest, Don Pino Graziano, arrived and blessed and inaugurated the nativity scene exhibition in a 500 organized as usual by the Bolognetta Coordination... but we will talk about this on another occasion. We just remind you that the nativity scene exhibition will remain open for the entire Christmas period according to the calendar that you will find on our Facebook page: XNUMXbolognetta.
After admiring the nativity scenes in 500, we set off for a short walk through the streets of Bolognetta and continued towards Baucina to visit the characteristic Mechanical Nativity Scene. I invite anyone who happens to be in the province of Palermo during this Christmas period not to miss a visit to this nativity scene. At 13,00:500 pm, once back on the road, we went to the “Villa Belvedere” restaurant in Ciminna to refresh ourselves with a lunch based on typical Sicilian products. During lunch, the members improvised as singers and discovered dancers (maybe it was the Brindisi native?). At the end of lunch, after the XNUMX auguri cake, the usual tombola was held, which allowed the luckiest to win various prizes, including the Ciocco-Latta Nativity Scenes enclosed in tin with drawings by Nino Parrucca to support ASLTI (Sicilian Association for the Fight against Leukemia and Childhood Tumors). The day ended with a visit to the Christmas markets of Ciminna with a live nativity scene.
I thank all the participants who wanted to have fun with us, I thank the Municipal Administrations of Bolognetta, Baucina and Ciminna and I thank again: Pasticceria Delizia, Panificio Santa Fortunata, Agenzia Allianz AssiGuzzo of Bagheria and the Restaurant “Villa Belvedere”, and then a special thanks goes to my tireless collaborators Salvatore Lo Faso and Vito Barone.
