The cost of the procedure for obtaining the registration certificate and the Model Registration Plate is €60.
The constitution of the “Fiat Nuova 500 Model Historical Register” happened on April 19, 2005.
The Registry aims to: to register the "New" 500s, both standard and with coachbuilder trim, still in circulation and not, to advise, to those who request it, the correct restoration of the car depending on the version and year of construction, in order to propose it for ASI Certification
Participation in the Registry is free and voluntary. and all 500s are welcomed without distinction, regardless of their condition.
The "Registration Plate” currently has a square shape and is engraved with the model, version year of construction and progressive registration number. The “Registration Certificate” is issued together with it.
The Certificate of Registration has no value for insurance, commercial or legal purposes.

The Historic Register of the Fiat Nuova 500 Model was regularly established as a complementary technical body of the Fiat 500 Club Italia on 14 December 2002 in Garlenda by the Board of Directors, of which it is an integral part, as shown in the minutes book.
