The second day of the Meeting began with the Talk Show at Parco Villafranca, during which Stefania Ponzone talked about the 30 years of the social magazine 4PiccoleRuote.
Matteo Comoglio, journalist of “La Manovella” told, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the “Abarth” brand, his personal experience of recovering the famous 500 Abarth of Records and presented the book “La 500, l'utilitaria della libertà”, written together with the Technical Commissioner Enrico Bo. Enrico himself then took the floor for the recommendations against incautious purchases, especially regarding special models.
At 11,30:200 over XNUMX cars set off for the Grand Tour, one of the “musts” of the Garlenda International Meeting. The cars traveled along the panoramic roads of the Arroscia Valley, to then stop in Leverone (Borghetto d'Arroscia, IM) for the “Maritime Alps Lunch” organized by the Pro Loco and with a typical menu proposed by the Agriturismo La Fattoria.
It is the spirit of Slow Drive, of driving slowly away from highways and expressways that quickly connect two points, but do not allow you to appreciate the peculiarities of the route.
In the evening, the Grand Gala in honor of the 35th anniversary of the Fiat 500 Club Italia. Among the protagonists of the amusing sketches, there were also members of the board who lent themselves with sympathy to involve the public. On stage were called the guests of honor this year, the Irish, who drove 2,500 km to be present at the event.
On Sunday morning the party moves to the Ippodromo dei Fiori in Villanova d'Albenga; musical entertainment, dancing and a catwalk for the participants who on this occasion will become the protagonists of the aerial photo for which a gigantic "35" will be composed with the five numbers in honor of the anniversary of the Fiat 500 Club Italia.
“A truly young gathering,” says Alessandro Vinotti, trustee of the Riviera delle Palme and volunteer at the Meeting. “There are hundreds of boys and girls who have been working tirelessly for a week to make all this possible, an example of cooperation that has given the event an extra boost.”
