San Giorgio estate It is a family-run winery and is located in Maserada sul Piave, exactly in the “Grave di Papadopoli”, North East of Treviso, within thelargest river island in Italy, created in 1882 following an exceptional flood of the Piave river.
The name of “Papadopoli Grave” comes from the union of:
Grave = Gravel, stony nature of the river bed.
Papadopoli = remembers the rich Venetian family (Papadopulos) who owned it in the nineteenth century.
