Many beautiful French “ladies” visiting the “Dante Giacosa” and not only. The 500 Museum has in fact been included in the tour “Life is beautiful in Italy” of the Club “La Traction Universelle”, dedicated to Citroën Traction Avant. Thursday 8 May, immediately after arriving in Albenga, the crews, accompanied by our vice-conservator Silvio Bertolotto and also welcomed by the founding president Domenico Romano, were able to visit the Museum of the small twin-cylinder. Other stops of the day were Villanova and Zuccarello. On Friday there were visits to the Museum of Glass Art of Altare and to Ferrania Film Museum of Cairo Montenotte and a nice ride in the suggestive scenery of the Ligurian Alps. Saturday, Toirano with the Ethnographic Museum and the famous Caves, as well as the ancient villages of Balestrino and Castelvecchio di Rocca Barbena. Sunday, grand finale in the suggestive historic center of Albenga, with the Cathedral, Baptistery, Naval Museum and Diocesan Museum.
The protagonist was also the Network of Museums of the Province of Savona, since most of the structures visited are part of it. An excellent business card of our territory and a way to combine art, history, nature and engines.
