Sabato 21 marzo cinque Fiat 500 e una Abarth 1000 si sono radunate per un pranzo all'Oevermeer Bistro in Muldersdrift, Johannesburg, Sud Africa.

L'evento è stato organizzato da Cameron Jenks, che ha radunato un piccolo gruppo di storiche 500 in Sud Africa. Cameron e suo padre Chris ne posseggono tre: una N del 1958, una D del 1962 e una Giardiniera del 1964. 

Tutte le auto si sono radunate al mattino per uno "Slow Drive" in direzione del ristorante. Le auto tutte hanno viaggiato andata e ritorno senza alcun problema. E' stato bellissimo vedere tre Fiat 500 N parcheggiate una a fianco dell'altra, e due D. Cameron e il suo amico Dominic, con due 500 off-road, si sono posizionati in posizione strategica per scattare alcune foto alle auto davanti alla diga e al ristorante.

Grazie a tutti coloro che hanno partecipato a questa magnifica giornata con le 500 e i loro entusiasti piloti! Non vediamo l'ora del prossimo pranzo insieme, sperando che altri si uniranno a noi.

On Saturday the 21st of March, 5 Fiat 500’s as well as an original Abarth 1000 went on a lunch run to Oevermeer Bistro in Muldersdrift, Johannesburg, South Africa.

The event was organized by Cameron Jenks who started a small group of Classic Fiat 500 owners in South Africa. Cameron and his father Chris own 3 500’s which include a 1958 N, a 1962 D and a 1964 Giardiniera.

All the 500’s met in the morning and took a slow drive out to the restaurant for lunch. The 500’s as well as the 1000 Abarth drove there and back with no problems. It was wonderful to have 3 500 N’s parked alongside each other as well as 2 500 D’s.

Cameron and his friend Dominic took 2 500’s “off-roading” to capture a few stunning shots with the 500’s overlooking the dam at the restaurant.
